I wanted a local mover and Roy Mathis Moving fit the bill. A lot of my stuff had to go to storage and they went the extra mile to see that everything was prepared for a lengthy stay. Mark and Lawson did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

We had the most amazing experience with Mathis Moving! Originally we had asked if they could just unload a truck. They knew were trying to save money and just gave us some suggestions. I felt like they truly wanted to help more than to make a sale. We talked for about 20 minutes and it was that customer service that sold us on our decision. Every other company we called was only business. This is a family owned company and you can tell. I called back to make an appointment with Sandy, she and I talked for about 30 minutes! Everyone wanted extremely down to earth. On the day of the move, Lawson and John arrived promptly and from the time that they actually left our new place, they worked their tails off. This is our first experience hiring a moving company, and we will definitely use them in the future! They saved us money and they did the job well done!

Using Roy Mathis Moving was by far the best decision we have made in a long time. We had an odd moving situation and our movers were awesome! Super professional, quick, efficient, so careful with our stuff, and overall very nice guys. They went beyond what is expected to make sure all of our stuff not only made it to our new place in the best condition possible, but helped us place everything in the right rooms, and made sure to set (especially the heavy stuff) in the most convenient spots so unpacking would be easy. We have already recommended them to several friends and family, and will most definitely use them for our next move!

I highly recommend! They just helped us move today and the men were very professional and were very efficient and communicative with where things should go, what items need to be wrapped etc. Not only that but their pricing structure was very fair. The cost and overall time was pretty much what I expected, which in my past moving situations was very rare- the movers would usually take their time or for some reason arrive atThe destination at least a half hour past than expected. Roy Mathis movers were on time and simply professional and honest which is what I look for in a moving company.

There aren’t enough stars to give for this company! I give them 10 stars out of 5! Absolutely outstanding!! John and his crew were super nice, even though I had to have them come to move stuff around at my house twice before the big moving day, then on moving day, I had them move my sofa to a friend’s house after they moved everything into my house. Moves are always stressful, but John and his crew were so wonderful, and took such great care of everything, they made it relaxing and stress free. They never complained or acted like it was an inconvenience when I asked them to do some extra moving, but cheerfully went out of their way to accommodate. I had NO damaged items nor paint scuffs on any walls during this move. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a company’s YELP rating this high, with 93 reviews, but believe me, this company absolutely deserves it. You’ll be so glad you went with them, trust me!! This is an excellent moving company! I chose this company because of the great reviews, they are family owned and they have been in business for many years. From the beginning, Ava the scheduler was very accomodating. I had to change my scheduled move twice because the new house was not yet move in ready. At one point, the day I needed was booked but Ava went above and beyond and got us movers! The movers, Charro and Mario arrived early! When they were leaving the first house, the owner stopped by to drop off a third mover. He came over to ask me how everything was going, and helped the guys a little before he left, he was great! I had been living in the same home for almost 40 years. This was my first time moving and, as you can imagine I was very disorganized. Charro has over 15 years of moving experience with the same company and knew exactly what to do, he was very helpful and had great suggestions. Mario was very nice, both were great guys! I felt very comfortable knowing they were so experienced. When they arrived at the new house, they were so patient and accommodating because I was still figuring out where to put the furniture. I am very thankful for their hard work and advice. If you are moving, this is a great company with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!

John’s rates were very reasonable for the exceptional service received. I have used his company twice and both times the crew (Lawson and Mark) were professional, friendly, and entertaining to boot. On the second job, they took extra measures to protect my refurbished furniture. After unloading they put my twin beds together and the antique china hutch, which was a challenge. But they mastered it. All the work was done swiftly, no time wasted. I would definitely use Mathis Moving again.
