These guys are awesome. They were flexible when I had to change the start time of my move because of issues at the new house, were friendly throughout the move, and carefully moved my stuff. They even provided me with wardrobe boxes for clothing I had planned to move in my car myself. I’ve recommended them to everyone I know!

I found this company thanks to Angie’s list (great reviews there too) and was totally happy with them. They quoted an hourly rate, and reviewed what I was moving over the phone so we could decide how many movers (and trucks) we needed. Ultimately, it was just under $200 an hour for 4 movers, 2 trucks. Best money I’ve every spent. They arrived on time and got busy. We’d prepacked most of our small items, but were still packing as they got started. They did a great job of keeping everything moving, and getting a 4 bedroom house and 3 car garage loaded up. Best of all, everything went smoothly with no damage to our stuff or to the houses. The painters had just finished in the house we were moving to, so it was great to realize the hallway, doors, and door frames were in the same pristine condition after the move. The total tab was just under $1200 for about 6 hours of hard work on their part.I’ve left some furniture and household items at the old house while we’re getting ready to sell it. I will call Mathis again when it’s time to get out!

Called yesterday to schedule a move this morning. They were able to accommodate my request and got everything done in just a few hours. Ava handled scheduling and explained pricing, and Chado and Kelly came out to do the work. Easy to schedule and easy to work with. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others.

I highly recommend Roy Mathis moving! Ava, the person I spoke to in order to get the appointment was super nice and the movers were very efficient with time and caring with the moving items. They were the only moving company that gave me a 2 hours minimum when I told them that we are just moving one bedroom items to an apartment a mile away. Other companies still wanted to charge 3 hours even though the moving would not have taken that long. Thank you Roy Mathis!!!

I highly recommend this moving company for so many reasons.I found them in Yelp and they are very competitive with price. I saw all the great Yelp reviews so I thought I would try them.First off, John is the lead Supervisor of the crew and he is the most patient and calm person I’ve met and seen with the crew. He treats his crew with respect and is very patient when explaining things to the crew on how to maneuver and do things the right way. The crew arrived 30 to 45 mins earlier than scheduled. They were ready to go as soon as I showed them everything I needed them to move. They had all the material and equipment they needed to do the job. They even handled everything with so much care and wrapped pieces that needed to be wrapped. They were so fast they got the job done in 6 hours and they moved quickly with all my heavy furniture pieces. They even placed all my furniture upstairs in all the right places exactly where I needed them to go without even telling them where my pieces would go. They reassembled my bed in the master and they even offered to help move additional items. When they picked up they helped move things out of the way. Please go with them. There’s no hesitation here and I definitely highly recommend using them. I’m definitely using them again on my next move!!

These guys were fast, professional, so helpful, safe, and amazing.Highly recommend!

Moving is always a bit nerve-racking, but with Mathis Moving all your worries are alleviated. I only had a few items to moving to a retirement community for a relative. The were on time, efficient, careful and really nice. I want to thank Andrew and Mario for helping me. So Nice.

I am a bit late on writing this review but I felt the need to do it anyway. During the process of my move I realized it would be way too tough to attempt to move out of our 4 bedroom home yet I was very apprehensive about hiring movers to help with this move. Roy Mathis Moving exceeded my expectations! They made everything so easy and painless. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

Had our piano moved today and the services we received was great. Movers were punctual, friendly and very professional. They didn’t have any hidden fees. Highly recommended

We moved a 2 bed/2 bath apt on 12/28/18. Andrew, Mario & Mark arrived on-time. They were quick, efficient, organized, professional, friendly & personable. They made sure to get everything out & ensured things were headed to the right place; house or storage. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Mathis Moving to anyone looking for movers in the Whittier area. Thx for everything guys!

I so appreciate the care and efficiency of Mathis. With a small team, they accomplished a lot with care and expertise, all while answering my questions and easing my mind over the more fragile items – explaining how they would pack. They were professional, friendly and very thorough. Thank you!

These guys were great! They showed up, cleared out a one bedroom apartment in less than an hour. They even added a last minute stop at no extra charge. Really friendly and professional!
