We needed to move furniture from one home in Norwalk to another (about 0.5 mi away). We had very little furniture; only a bedroom set, small dining room table, and living room furniture. There were also mirrors and misc. decorative items that they packed up safely. We found them on Angie’s List. Their reviews led me to call them. The woman I initially spoke with when I called was very sweet and her customer service made me choose this company over others. It was obvious that this was a family run business, which we love to support. They were able to come out on the day we needed, with just a few day’s notice. They were on time, friendly, and had the job done in just about 2 hours. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I’ve used this company multiple times for not just my moving needs and I must say, you can’t beat their prices or the quality of work they perform. They are respectful and very diligent in what they do. I highly recommend them if you’re considering hiring a company. If it’s handy man work, junk hauling, relocating.. they do it all!

It was my 1st time hiring a moving company to move. I wanted to move my queen size bed to my new home so I needed it to be disassembled and reassemble. The moving team did a wonderful job and they were very professional. They were fast, efficient and very friendly. I will definitely hire them again when I move next time.

Mathis Moving did an absolutely 5-star job on our recent move. We had a two-story house, 2400 sq. ft, 12 rooms, and moved to a single-story home, 1900 sq. ft, 8 rooms. On Wednesday, John and his team of six packers arrived at 8:30 and by 3:00 they had us packed up. On the following Friday, the same team arrived at 8:30 and loaded up two trucks by noon. The new house was about 20 minutes from our old house. They arrive about 30 minutes later at the new house and had us moved in by 3:00. They placed the furniture where we wanted them, along with all the various boxes.The team was very friendly and were very willing to pack and move special pieces as we requested. They were all very hard workers, but always had time to stop and answer questions.I also have to give very high marks to Ava, who I dealt with over the phone. I told her how anxious I was about this move. We had been living in our old home for 40 years. Ava made some very helpful suggestions that really made the move quite easy, this included taking pictures of the rooms and explaining what we wanted moved. This really took the stress out of the move. Ava also called us a number of times to answer questions and tell me how the photos were a help to her.Opps, I forgot to say how pleased we were with the told cost of the packing and the move!!!!!!!!!! Extremely reasonable.And as I said, Mathis Moving did a 5-star job for us, and should we need movers again, they will be the first ones we call!

A few weeks ago I called Mathis at the recommendation of my sister-in-law. From the first call, I was impressed with their service. I called about two weeks ahead of my scheduled move date and was able to schedule two guys and a truck. I was a little taken back by their rates because other companies I had contacted were more expensive. Moving is a process I don’t want to skimp on. On the move date, Andrew and Charro showed up on time and were polite from the moment I met them. They positioned the truck, came inside to take a look around and got right to it. I’m on a budget so I did as much ahead of time that I could to save time (and money) and they were totally cool with that and the help I provided with moving stuff around. When we were done packing up, one of them asked if it was okay if they stopped on the way to my new house to get something to drink. They were quick to note that I wouldn’t be charged for the break. Of course I was more than cool with that since they had certainly earned it. They were as prompt with moving things in to our new house and were sure to ask where each item was to go. I’ve been missing a nut and bolt for our bed frame since our previous move, but they found one in their toolbox and gladly replaced it for me. I can’t say enough for the prompt, professional service I received from Mathis. I would recommend them to anyone and will be sure to use them again in the future. Andrew and Charro kicked some serious ass with their work ethic.

The team was polite, on time, and hard-working team, everything was loaded and arrived at the destination in good order and with care. Would recommend them and use them on my next move. If they weren’t sure where to put something, they would ask.

I cannot say enough great things about the three men who moved us. Kelly, Mark and Lawson were amazing. They were professional, courteous, polite and efficient. They’re also very funny!!!

In June 2013, I moved from Fullerton to La Habra & the two guys from Mathis were awesome. They were on time, friendly, fast & efficient with no hidden charges. Thanks Lawson & Charro, you guys are the best. Btw, the lady in the Mathis front office was just as pleasant & a real pleasure talking to in setting up the move.

Great experience moving today. Nice guys, efficient and really nice to deal with. nothing was broken, scuffed, etc. highly recommend. Hoping not to move for a long time but if we do, would definitely use agin.
