Short summary: I would recommend and definitely use again. No hidden costs and super efficient. Long story: Reading reviews about moving companies was scaring me because of all the extra charges but then I came across Mathis Movers. I called them up and spoke with John and he gave me a run down of the pricing and it was pretty simple, you pay by the hour. It sounded good to me. He later texted me to confirm he had my date available. *I called him on a Saturday and he told me to speak with Ava on Monday to set it up. After speaking with Ava she told me the date I needed was not available because I needed a three man crew. I had only one day to move my stuff from my old home to the new one. Ava let me know she had other dates available just not the one I needed. I continued my search and was running into several companies that tacked on random charges. Just when I had given up all hope, Ava called me a week later to let me know my date opened up. I was thrilled. She was very thorough and the communication was great. The day of the move came and Charro, Mario and Andrew showed up just as scheduled and ready to work. They were super fast and wasted no time. It was a really hot day and yet they hustled. They handled all my stuff with care and were very personable. I will definitely be referring this company to my family and friends.

I can’t say enough good things about this moving company. They were prompt and efficient. They were careful with all my things. They moved quickly and were courteous. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a great moving company.

Best moving company we have seen in our 8+ years in business. I have used Mathis Moving personally & they have moved twenty plus clients for our business. I’ve had a lot of movers over time, and this company by far has been the best! I went with them based on reviews. While other companies had a larger volume of reviews, this one had the most positive reviews and I can see why! Eva at the office helped me with the estimate and scheduling. I even had to reschedule and her team was awesome in helping me with that. On moving day, Charro and his crew (Andrew and Chris) arrived on time at 8:15. They worked very well together in coordinating what to take out and in which order, as well as what order to bring things in at the other location. They communicated with me and each other all along the way. They were very kind, polite, patient and professional. They were very careful so nothing was broken, damaged or scratched. Charro was very particular about putting the reclining chairs and couches back together, and we really appreciated that! This team was truly stellar and we are so grateful for them having made this process so smooth! I highly recommend using them!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Roy Mathis Moving. I booked them fairly short notice, but Ava went out of her way to find movers for my date. The movers were on time, professional, and incredibly efficient! I am usually a do it yourself Uhaul person, but Roy Mathis was so incredibly affordable that I don’t think I’ll ever go back. A three man crew arrived to move me out of my two level home to my new single level home. They did an excellent job. Rate was reasonable and received quality service. They were hard workers, friendly, accommodating and patient. And as an added bonus, they had a sense of humor even while staying focused on the task at hand. Would definitely recommend Chano, Mario and Cesar.
