These guys were AMAZING!!They moved us from an upstairs apartment to a pretty much 3rd story Condo. They were very professional throughout the process. Since I had new floors put in, the took a moment to put felt on the bottom of the furniture. They took apart, reassembled, and placed everything where I needed it to go. The 3 guys who moved us today were straight up nice guys, who worked very hard, and I heard not one complaint from the amount of stairs they had to climb and carry heavy loads up.I did buy them In and Out for lunch since I felt bad for the insane stairs, which they showed much appreciation for.I would recommend them to anyone who is moving!!!Great job guys….THANK YOU!!!

Found this moving company on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they were located close to our home. First called Excalibur (another 5 star rated business but they quoted over a $1,000 for moving from La Habra Heights to Colton…They said they needed three guys to work the move after I sent them a list of things to ship and I am assuming they quoted higher because they are based in downtown LA (moving companies charge by the hour per person working including the time to travel back). Roy Mathis Moving sent a quote back less than a couple hours after I emailed them and quoted $400-450 depending on the time. Set up the date for the move over the phone and two guys showed up (it’s been a couple of months so I forgot their names but very courteous and expedient) and they finished the whole job in less time than I expected (when I told them, “You guys are fast.” One of the guys smiled and said “We don’t mess around.”). They charged me around $330-340 and I gave them $400 including tip. Very friendly and honest business experience overall and I would definitely use them again. Definitely give them a try if you live near Whittier area.

John was terrific in the setup process, his crew was on-time, friendly, responsive, and worked hard. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, especially in an industry of unknowns. If you’re like me and called a dozen companies, these are the guys to call first.

What a wonderful experience at a very busy time. On time and very attentive to our every request. Took care of our belongings like they were their family heirlooms. I wouldn’t hesitate referring Matthias to anyone who have moving needs. Professional and personal.

If I could sum up their service it is definitely top notch given the amount of stuff we had. They have a method to the science of moving and packing everything up in the large truck. I think they handled everything with care even with a toddler around. Only complaint I had was the furniture was not shrink wrapped.

I can not say enough good things about them!!!We moved a 3,000 sq/ft house from Costa Mesa to Fallbrook. We got a quote from John at Roy Mathis as well as three other very highly rated movers. Mathis was the cheapest quote by far of the three quotes we received. John spent a lot of time reviewing everything with us and patiently answered all our questions. After a detailed look at what we needed to move he gave us a quote. John impressed us with his professionalism and attention to detail. When moving day came, they show up on time and had everything loaded up in no time. His crew was awesome. Everyone was so nice and had a great attitude. I give high praise to the whole crew. Everything was delivered to the new house. Not one glass was broken, not one scratch on a piece of furniture. After the move John presented me with the bill. It was exactly what he quoted. I highly recommend Roy Mathis Moving and will most certainly use them again if we need anything moved. Thanks for making a tough day a whole lot better with your great work and service!!!

The team was polite, on time, and hard-working team, everything was loaded and arrived at the destination in good order and with care. Would recommend them and use them on my next move. If they weren’t sure where to put something, they would ask.

Using Roy Mathis Moving was by far the best decision we have made in a long time. We had an odd moving situation and our movers were awesome! Super professional, quick, efficient, so careful with our stuff, and overall very nice guys. They went beyond what is expected to make sure all of our stuff not only made it to our new place in the best condition possible, but helped us place everything in the right rooms, and made sure to set (especially the heavy stuff) in the most convenient spots so unpacking would be easy. We have already recommended them to several friends and family, and will most definitely use them for our next move!
