So I first had the pleasure of working with Roy Mathis Movers back in Dec 2019. I had a client who hired them for a move from Cerritos to Carson. I oversaw the move on behalf of my client and they did an outstanding job. All of the movers were friendly, attentive, reliable, accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure the move was done right. More recently, I referred them to a friend who moved from Lake Forest to Huntington Beach. They said they did a tremendous job especially since they had a lot of heavy and/or bulky furniture items to be moved up three levels on narrow stairways. Additionally, both of these moves were last minute with maybe a 2-3 day turn around and Mathis was able to accommodate those requests. I will continue to refer them and look forward to using their services if/when we move!

We moved a 2 bed/2 bath apt on 12/28/18. Andrew, Mario & Mark arrived on-time. They were quick, efficient, organized, professional, friendly & personable. They made sure to get everything out & ensured things were headed to the right place; house or storage. Amazing movers. I called several companies and although they were all pretty much similar in pricing, what got me was that they don’t charge an additional heavy item fee!! Two people came on time and they were extremely detailed in everything as to not damage my furniture or the houses! They did not use any coverings or padding, but they really didn’t need to as they were THAT meticulous. Their strength was also amazing as I do have heavy pieces of furniture. I’ve never worked with such professional movers and have had to use different companies each time. I will definitely recommend and come back. In fact, I made sure to put them in my contacts!

Great experience moving today. Nice guys, efficient and really nice to deal with. nothing was broken, scuffed, etc. highly recommend. Hoping not to move for a long time but if we do, would definitely use agin.

I’ve had a lot of movers over time, and this company by far has been the best! I went with them based on reviews. While other companies had a larger volume of reviews, this one had the most positive reviews and I can see why! Eva at the office helped me with the estimate and scheduling. I even had to reschedule and her team was awesome in helping me with that. On moving day, Charro and his crew (Andrew and Chris) arrived on time at 8:15. They worked very well together in coordinating what to take out and in which order, as well as what order to bring things in at the other location. They communicated with me and each other all along the way. They were very kind, polite, patient and professional. They were very careful so nothing was broken, damaged or scratched. Charro was very particular about putting the reclining chairs and couches back together, and we really appreciated that! This team was truly stellar and we are so grateful for them having made this process so smooth! I highly recommend using them!

Seriously….budget them into your moving expenses because it is sooo worth it! Reasonable price and excellent service. My husband and I literally just moved and I just had to write this right away. Three dudes, super nice, friendly and professional. They checked to make sure that the furniture had felt, used a mattress cover, and there was no damage to the house or furniture. They wanted to make it easy on us! I’ll never move again without using them! Highly recommend them, can you tell I love them?

These guys were great! They showed up, cleared out a one bedroom apartment in less than an hour. They even added a last minute stop at no extra charge. Really friendly and professional!

Mathis moving co was excellent, would definitely recommend. They showed up on time and went straight to work. They were friendly, very professional and took good care with our furniture. They loaded and unloaded efficiently and carefully–nothing was damaged and it is all neatly packed in our storage unit. They really went above and beyond.

Kelly and his crew Charo, Andrew & Mark showed up on time & ready to work. We were moving a large 2 story 5 bdrm. cross town. These guys were careful, conscientious and efficient. I have moved many times across country and these guys were as good as any crew I’ve come across. My furniture is big and heavy and they moved it up and downstairs with no damage. Very technical in their approach. And very hard working!Nice work & great job!,

Good service. The guys that came did so promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. Didn’t find anything broken and the their prices were very reasonable. I would use them in the future and would recommend you do too.
