12 years we have used them and never I mean never had a problem. Complex big moves, high end furniture, delicate items, and I feel safe with this company. Any of their team could be in my home without me there and I would feel 100% trust and safe. I can’t say this about any other types of services. Too many times I have been let down. I don’t go on the internet but after this last complex series of moves shutting down my beloved parents estate. I am moved to tell any one if you are clear they are clear. They are as pristine as the the person wanting the service. They are very organized in there service. They are there when they say they are coming. Mathis Moving did an absolutely 5-star job on our recent move. We had a two-story house, 2400 sq. ft, 12 rooms, and moved to a single-story home, 1900 sq. ft, 8 rooms. On Wednesday, John and his team of six packers arrived at 8:30 and by 3:00 they had us packed up. On the following Friday, the same team arrived at 8:30 and loaded up two trucks by noon. The new house was about 20 minutes from our old house. They arrive about 30 minutes later at the new house and had us moved in by 3:00. They placed the furniture where we wanted them, along with all the various boxes.The team was very friendly and were very willing to pack and move special pieces as we requested. They were all very hard workers, but always had time to stop and answer questions.I also have to give very high marks to Ava, who I dealt with over the phone. I told her how anxious I was about this move. We had been living in our old home for 40 years. Ava made some very helpful suggestions that really made the move quite easy, this included taking pictures of the rooms and explaining what we wanted moved. This really took the stress out of the move. Ava also called us a number of times to answer questions and tell me how the photos were a help to her.Opps, I forgot to say how pleased we were with the told cost of the packing and the move!!!!!!!!!! Extremely reasonable.And as I said, Mathis Moving did a 5-star job for us, and should we need movers again, they will be the first ones we call!

They did it again! Prompt, timely, and super friendly. Andrew & Cesar are super stars. Made all my planning and packing worth it. They know how to handle and care for all your items. Cant say enough good things about this moving company. Highly recommend, wouldn’t think twice about going with any other company. You can tell good leadership and guidance and fun working relationships are present with his workers/movers. Yay.

Found this moving company on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they were located close to our home. First called Excalibur (another 5 star rated business but they quoted over a $1,000 for moving from La Habra Heights to Colton…They said they needed three guys to work the move after I sent them a list of things to ship and I am assuming they quoted higher because they are based in downtown LA (moving companies charge by the hour per person working including the time to travel back). Roy Mathis Moving sent a quote back less than a couple hours after I emailed them and quoted $400-450 depending on the time. Set up the date for the move over the phone and two guys showed up (it’s been a couple of months so I forgot their names but very courteous and expedient) and they finished the whole job in less time than I expected (when I told them, “You guys are fast.” One of the guys smiled and said “We don’t mess around.”). They charged me around $330-340 and I gave them $400 including tip. Very friendly and honest business experience overall and I would definitely use them again. Definitely give them a try if you live near Whittier area.

Great experience moving today. Nice guys, efficient and really nice to deal with. nothing was broken, scuffed, etc. highly recommend. Hoping not to move for a long time but if we do, would definitely use agin.

Five stars. Lawson and Mark have got true hustle. They quickly and safely moved several heavy pieces of furniture out of our upstairs apartment into a two story townhome. We were impressed. The rate was a flat fee per hour & they don’t charge extra for the supplies to wrap furniture. The total including tip was worth it. They never wasted time and were great to talk to. We’d definitely use Mathis Moving again!

I can not say enough good things about them!!!We moved a 3,000 sq/ft house from Costa Mesa to Fallbrook. We got a quote from John at Roy Mathis as well as three other very highly rated movers. Mathis was the cheapest quote by far of the three quotes we received. John spent a lot of time reviewing everything with us and patiently answered all our questions. After a detailed look at what we needed to move he gave us a quote. John impressed us with his professionalism and attention to detail. When moving day came, they show up on time and had everything loaded up in no time. His crew was awesome. Everyone was so nice and had a great attitude. I give high praise to the whole crew. Everything was delivered to the new house. Not one glass was broken, not one scratch on a piece of furniture. After the move John presented me with the bill. It was exactly what he quoted. I have hired a many movers in the past and Mathis Moving has been by far, the best one! They are very efficient, very professional and provided such great customer service! I highly recommend them. They were so helpful and was considerate on how to put the boxes and things away at our new home. They put them away nicely on shelves in the garage and made sure there was space to walk around so I can easily go through the boxes. While they were packing, I mentioned how I was donating some of the items they were packing. When they unloaded at the new house, they made sure to put those donations items together and easily accessible. This type of customer service is amazing. They packed up our things and moved them as if it was their own. From my very first call to them, until they finished the job…5 stars!

Mathis Moving moved a large dining room table and other small furniture on a short move. They came on time, took care of the furniture, and charged the agreed upon amount. I was pleased with their service and would definitely use them again.
