12 years we have used them and never I mean never had a problem. Complex big moves, high end furniture, delicate items, and I feel safe with this company. Any of their team could be in my home without me there and I would feel 100% trust and safe. I can’t say this about any other types of services. Too many times I have been let down. I don’t go on the internet but after this last complex series of moves shutting down my beloved parents estate. I am moved to tell any one if you are clear they are clear. They are as pristine as the the person wanting the service. They are very organized in there service. They are there when they say they are coming. I’ve had a lot of movers over time, and this company by far has been the best! I went with them based on reviews. While other companies had a larger volume of reviews, this one had the most positive reviews and I can see why! Eva at the office helped me with the estimate and scheduling. I even had to reschedule and her team was awesome in helping me with that. On moving day, Charro and his crew (Andrew and Chris) arrived on time at 8:15. They worked very well together in coordinating what to take out and in which order, as well as what order to bring things in at the other location. They communicated with me and each other all along the way. They were very kind, polite, patient and professional. They were very careful so nothing was broken, damaged or scratched. Charro was very particular about putting the reclining chairs and couches back together, and we really appreciated that! This team was truly stellar and we are so grateful for them having made this process so smooth! I highly recommend using them!

I reached out to John via Yelp and Ava via the phone system. They were both amazing to work with and extremely prompt, professional, and accommodating. John and his crew helped me move from my condo in Los Angeles to a home in Long Beach and it was one of the smoothest moves I’ve ever had.I’d describe John and his team as courteous, calm, and professional. I decided to try Mathis movers since my mom raved about them and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. I’ve used other moving companies before, but Mathis is by far the best one. Moving was so smooth, easy and quick. These guys made my moving so easy. What I like the most is how punctual and professional they are. There was no fuss. Coordination was spot on. John is so committed. He called me one day before to make sure that everything is on schedule. Normally, I always have to call and remind people but this time, it was opposite. John came with Mark. Both were so friendly, courteous and humble. John made sure that while moving stuff in my new home he is not going to scratch anything. That was so thoughtful of him. I really recommend them. They know their job. They are so efficient, dedicated, polite and considerate. They have to climb up so many stairs at both places but still they were like No whining, no complaints. Now that I’m settled into my new place, I really wanted to take the opportunity to write them a review. It was my first time using a moving company and I will always use them in the future. Worked with Ava to schedule the move and on the day of move in I was scheduled to have 3 movers. The owner himself and an additional mover came out to help so there were 5 in total at move out just to help cause I had an oversized sectional that had to be taken out over the balcony of the second floor. They were all friendly, careful with our furniture and worked promptly. When we got to our new place, they all worked hard to assemble and re-connect all of our appliances and got it done as quickly as possible. They are efficient, courteous and friendly and went above my expectations. I specifically had Charo, Charlie and Marc as my movers and I thought they all did a great job. We even finished earlier than 8 hours I had anticipated. Highly recommend!!!

I have hired a many movers in the past and Mathis Moving has been by far, the best one! They are very efficient, very professional and provided such great customer service! I highly recommend them. They were so helpful and was considerate on how to put the boxes and things away at our new home. They put them away nicely on shelves in the garage and made sure there was space to walk around so I can easily go through the boxes. While they were packing, I mentioned how I was donating some of the items they were packing. When they unloaded at the new house, they made sure to put those donations items together and easily accessible. This type of customer service is amazing. They packed up our things and moved them as if it was their own. From my very first call to them, until they finished the job…5 stars!

Mathis moving a few weeks ago moved us into our home and they were amazing today. I had them come back and move a washer and dryer from our apartment on the third floor with no elevator to our home on the second floor they did it in under two hours. Hooked up and ready to go no hidden fees or anything. Their service is amazing I am a forever customer for sure.

Highly Recommend use of Mathis Moving for all of your moving needs. We needed help moving items from a storage unit into our home and the guys at Mathis Moving were awesome from start to finish. They even helped setup the bed in one of the bedrooms! That is great customer service and we appreciate the great work.

Short summary: I would recommend and definitely use again. No hidden costs and super efficient. Long story: Reading reviews about moving companies was scaring me because of all the extra charges but then I came across Mathis Movers. I called them up and spoke with John and he gave me a run down of the pricing and it was pretty simple, you pay by the hour. It sounded good to me. He later texted me to confirm he had my date available. *I called him on a Saturday and he told me to speak with Ava on Monday to set it up. After speaking with Ava she told me the date I needed was not available because I needed a three man crew. I had only one day to move my stuff from my old home to the new one. Ava let me know she had other dates available just not the one I needed. I continued my search and was running into several companies that tacked on random charges. Just when I had given up all hope, Ava called me a week later to let me know my date opened up. I was thrilled. She was very thorough and the communication was great. The day of the move came and Charro, Mario and Andrew showed up just as scheduled and ready to work. They were super fast and wasted no time. It was a really hot day and yet they hustled. They handled all my stuff with care and were very personable. I will definitely be referring this company to my family and friends.

I am a bit late on writing this review but I felt the need to do it anyway. During the process of my move I realized it would be way too tough to attempt to move out of our 4 bedroom home yet I was very apprehensive about hiring movers to help with this move. Roy Mathis Moving exceeded my expectations! They made everything so easy and painless. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough great things about the three men who moved us. Kelly, Mark and Lawson were amazing. They were professional, courteous, polite and efficient. They’re also very funny!!!

I wanted a local mover and Roy Mathis Moving fit the bill. A lot of my stuff had to go to storage and they went the extra mile to see that everything was prepared for a lengthy stay. Mark and Lawson did a great job and I would highly recommend them!
