They showed up on time and were professional. They respected covid protocol as well. It was a multiple space move to a single place with stairs. They were hard workers but one piece of furniture got damaged. The owner was apologetic, came himself and got it and took it to be repaired. The repair job was over and above and the piece looks better than it did. I would use them again and recommend them. One thing I would be clear on is what to wrap or not from dwelling to the truck but all furniture was padded and secure in the truck for the journey.

This is an excellent moving company! I chose this company because of the great reviews, they are family owned and they have been in business for many years. From the beginning, Ava the scheduler was very accomodating. I had to change my scheduled move twice because the new house was not yet move in ready. At one point, the day I needed was booked but Ava went above and beyond and got us movers! The movers, Charro and Mario arrived early! When they were leaving the first house, the owner stopped by to drop off a third mover. He came over to ask me how everything was going, and helped the guys a little before he left, he was great! I had been living in the same home for almost 40 years. This was my first time moving and, as you can imagine I was very disorganized. Charro has over 15 years of moving experience with the same company and knew exactly what to do, he was very helpful and had great suggestions. Mario was very nice, both were great guys! I felt very comfortable knowing they were so experienced. When they arrived at the new house, they were so patient and accommodating because I was still figuring out where to put the furniture. I am very thankful for their hard work and advice. If you are moving, this is a great company with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!

I reached out to John via Yelp and Ava via the phone system. They were both amazing to work with and extremely prompt, professional, and accommodating. John and his crew helped me move from my condo in Los Angeles to a home in Long Beach and it was one of the smoothest moves I’ve ever had.I’d describe John and his team as courteous, calm, and professional. I decided to try Mathis movers since my mom raved about them and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. I’ve used other moving companies before, but Mathis is by far the best one. I highly recommend this moving company for so many reasons.I found them in Yelp and they are very competitive with price. I saw all the great Yelp reviews so I thought I would try them.First off, John is the lead Supervisor of the crew and he is the most patient and calm person I’ve met and seen with the crew. He treats his crew with respect and is very patient when explaining things to the crew on how to maneuver and do things the right way. The crew arrived 30 to 45 mins earlier than scheduled. They were ready to go as soon as I showed them everything I needed them to move. They had all the material and equipment they needed to do the job. They even handled everything with so much care and wrapped pieces that needed to be wrapped. They were so fast they got the job done in 6 hours and they moved quickly with all my heavy furniture pieces. They even placed all my furniture upstairs in all the right places exactly where I needed them to go without even telling them where my pieces would go. They reassembled my bed in the master and they even offered to help move additional items. When they picked up they helped move things out of the way. Please go with them. There’s no hesitation here and I definitely highly recommend using them. I’m definitely using them again on my next move!!

Great experience moving today. Nice guys, efficient and really nice to deal with. nothing was broken, scuffed, etc. highly recommend. Hoping not to move for a long time but if we do, would definitely use agin.

Mathis Movers is amazing! John was so nice on the phone, and the movers Lassen and Mark were so nice and friendly. We live in the mountains, so we have a lot of steps and windy roads to navigate. The movers were great and never complained. If you need movers, definitely use this company. You won’t be disappointed!

We bought some long, HEAVYYYY furniture from an Irvine store-closing and knew this wasn’t an ordinary u-haul + friends moment. We shopped around for business trucks with a lift gate and none to be found. Let’s be honest, inexperienced movers would’ve flubbed this up or get injured. My injured back is not worth taking me out to lunch for helping you, lol.Then lightbulb, moving company! We chose Mathis Moving because we got an almost immediate response on Sunday, reasonable pricing and reserved a time slot for Monday. John showed up to the store from another appointment and walked me through what they were going to do. Heyo A+ customer service!Since we were both from Whittier, they knew my drop off really well. I almost didn’t have to give them the full address! The team was super helpful and nice. Leaving to pick up and to drop off was just about three hours.

Uhaul changed my reservation without given me notices. I didn’t want to wait to the evening to move. So I called Roy Mathis and took care of me at the last min. Job was dont fast and professional.

Awesome, awesome company. Talked to John even before they opened at 8. He picked up my call and explained my situation and I needed to move a couple of pieces of furniture the same day. He requested I call back at 8 (time of opening) and speak to Ava. Ava has the greatest customer service skills. She kept in contact with me to through out the morning to confirm if they could move my furniture the same day. Long story short, called at 8am, by noon they were picking up my furniture and delivered by 1 pm. Totally recommend them!!! I sure will call them again.
