The BEST movers we’ve ever worked with. If you’re like me searching through Yelp trying to find a mover by reading through lots of reviews and calling… look no further, I did all that homework. Mathis Moving is the one, this is it.We recently completed a move with Mathis Moving and had an absolute great experience with the staff. John, Charro and Angel were our movers that day and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were very efficient, skillful at maneuver large heavy furnitures, friendly yet professional. Definitely an A++ team. We were very impressed how they were able to park the truck and made it work at a tricky narrow street near the exit and the fact they got a very heavy sofa bed up the second floor. Their attention to detail was great and used preventive measures so nothing gets scratched or damaged. Hats down. Bravo. Ava was the coordinator and scheduler, she was very thorough and responsive. Now that I’m settled into my new place, I really wanted to take the opportunity to write them a review. It was my first time using a moving company and I will always use them in the future. Worked with Ava to schedule the move and on the day of move in I was scheduled to have 3 movers. The owner himself and an additional mover came out to help so there were 5 in total at move out just to help cause I had an oversized sectional that had to be taken out over the balcony of the second floor. They were all friendly, careful with our furniture and worked promptly. When we got to our new place, they all worked hard to assemble and re-connect all of our appliances and got it done as quickly as possible. They are efficient, courteous and friendly and went above my expectations. I specifically had Charo, Charlie and Marc as my movers and I thought they all did a great job. We even finished earlier than 8 hours I had anticipated. Highly recommend!!!

It’s not often that a moving company can get a top rating, but Mathis deserves it. They were flexible, neat, clean and kind. Moving is so stressful, so why hire a mover who makes it worse. You won’t go wrong with Mathis.

A few weeks ago I called Mathis at the recommendation of my sister-in-law. From the first call, I was impressed with their service. I called about two weeks ahead of my scheduled move date and was able to schedule two guys and a truck. I was a little taken back by their rates because other companies I had contacted were more expensive. Moving is a process I don’t want to skimp on. On the move date, Andrew and Charro showed up on time and were polite from the moment I met them. They positioned the truck, came inside to take a look around and got right to it. I’m on a budget so I did as much ahead of time that I could to save time (and money) and they were totally cool with that and the help I provided with moving stuff around. When we were done packing up, one of them asked if it was okay if they stopped on the way to my new house to get something to drink. They were quick to note that I wouldn’t be charged for the break. Of course I was more than cool with that since they had certainly earned it. They were as prompt with moving things in to our new house and were sure to ask where each item was to go. I’ve been missing a nut and bolt for our bed frame since our previous move, but they found one in their toolbox and gladly replaced it for me. I can’t say enough for the prompt, professional service I received from Mathis. I would recommend them to anyone and will be sure to use them again in the future. Andrew and Charro kicked some serious ass with their work ethic.

I highly recommend Roy Mathis moving! Ava, the person I spoke to in order to get the appointment was super nice and the movers were very efficient with time and caring with the moving items. They were the only moving company that gave me a 2 hours minimum when I told them that we are just moving one bedroom items to an apartment a mile away. Other companies still wanted to charge 3 hours even though the moving would not have taken that long. Thank you Roy Mathis!!!

These guys are awesome. They were flexible when I had to change the start time of my move because of issues at the new house, were friendly throughout the move, and carefully moved my stuff. They even provided me with wardrobe boxes for clothing I had planned to move in my car myself. I’ve recommended them to everyone I know!

I bought a piano online and hired Roy Mathis Moving to pick it up and deliver it to my house. They were right on time, handled the piano with great care and very reasonably priced. Thank you for a job well done!

They showed up on time and were professional. They respected covid protocol as well. It was a multiple space move to a single place with stairs. They were hard workers but one piece of furniture got damaged. The owner was apologetic, came himself and got it and took it to be repaired. The repair job was over and above and the piece looks better than it did. I would use them again and recommend them. One thing I would be clear on is what to wrap or not from dwelling to the truck but all furniture was padded and secure in the truck for the journey.

I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Roy Mathis Moving. I booked them fairly short notice, but Ava went out of her way to find movers for my date. The movers were on time, professional, and incredibly efficient! I am usually a do it yourself Uhaul person, but Roy Mathis was so incredibly affordable that I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Worth every penny! I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to move

Amazing movers. I called several companies and although they were all pretty much similar in pricing, what got me was that they don’t charge an additional heavy item fee!! Two people came on time and they were extremely detailed in everything as to not damage my furniture or the houses! They did not use any coverings or padding, but they really didn’t need to as they were THAT meticulous. Their strength was also amazing as I do have heavy pieces of furniture. I’ve never worked with such professional movers and have had to use different companies each time. I will definitely recommend and come back. In fact, I made sure to put them in my contacts!

Needed a moving company to help me from my one bedroom 3rd story apartment(no elevators) to another one bedroom ground floor. They did an amazing job. Found them on yelp within the month of moving. Ava had me put together an itemized list so they knew what they were in for. She assured me everything would be taken care of. Mike and Andrew were great. They were quick and had a great sense of humor. The owner even showed up to help move everything down with he other guys (free of charge)and really set the pace. I really liked that he came just to make sure everything was taken care of properly since we did live on the 3rd floor. As a young couple with a baby we wanted to stay in a budget and they made sure we got finished within the time frame needed. Great guys and a fair price. Will definitely use again.
