My mother was very pleased with their service. They were very careful with her belongings and moved items in her hallways so they wouldn’t knock anything over. They were willing to do anything she needed like move old furniture to make room for the new.Their schedule was very accommodating with only 2 days notice.

Great experience moving today. Nice guys, efficient and really nice to deal with. nothing was broken, scuffed, etc. highly recommend. Hoping not to move for a long time but if we do, would definitely use agin.

Mathis moving a few weeks ago moved us into our home and they were amazing today. I had them come back and move a washer and dryer from our apartment on the third floor with no elevator to our home on the second floor they did it in under two hours. Hooked up and ready to go no hidden fees or anything. Their service is amazing I am a forever customer for sure.

A few weeks ago I called Mathis at the recommendation of my sister-in-law. From the first call, I was impressed with their service. I called about two weeks ahead of my scheduled move date and was able to schedule two guys and a truck. I was a little taken back by their rates because other companies I had contacted were more expensive. Moving is a process I don’t want to skimp on. On the move date, Andrew and Charro showed up on time and were polite from the moment I met them. They positioned the truck, came inside to take a look around and got right to it. I’m on a budget so I did as much ahead of time that I could to save time (and money) and they were totally cool with that and the help I provided with moving stuff around. When we were done packing up, one of them asked if it was okay if they stopped on the way to my new house to get something to drink. They were quick to note that I wouldn’t be charged for the break. Of course I was more than cool with that since they had certainly earned it. They were as prompt with moving things in to our new house and were sure to ask where each item was to go. I’ve been missing a nut and bolt for our bed frame since our previous move, but they found one in their toolbox and gladly replaced it for me. I can’t say enough for the prompt, professional service I received from Mathis. I would recommend them to anyone and will be sure to use them again in the future. Andrew and Charro kicked some serious ass with their work ethic.

Found this moving company on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they were located close to our home. First called Excalibur (another 5 star rated business but they quoted over a $1,000 for moving from La Habra Heights to Colton…They said they needed three guys to work the move after I sent them a list of things to ship and I am assuming they quoted higher because they are based in downtown LA (moving companies charge by the hour per person working including the time to travel back). Roy Mathis Moving sent a quote back less than a couple hours after I emailed them and quoted $400-450 depending on the time. Set up the date for the move over the phone and two guys showed up (it’s been a couple of months so I forgot their names but very courteous and expedient) and they finished the whole job in less time than I expected (when I told them, “You guys are fast.” One of the guys smiled and said “We don’t mess around.”). They charged me around $330-340 and I gave them $400 including tip. Very friendly and honest business experience overall and I would definitely use them again. Definitely give them a try if you live near Whittier area.

I needed to have a very heavy piece of hand carved furniture moved from my home to my son’s house. I found Mathis Moving on Yelp and was impressed by the reviews. I talked to John who was very professional and quoted me a very reasonable price to make the move. John and his helper arrived promptly at the time given. They immediately went to work wrapping the cabinet in blankets and had it loaded up quickly. They loaded it into the house all safe and sound. John definitely knows his business and is not only professional, but truly understands the meaning of providing exceptional customer service. I will use this company for all my moving needs and will recommend them to all my friends and family. In fact I’ve already told my family and neighbors about them. Thank you big time Mathis Moving!

Kelly, Andrew and Charro are moving me from Brea to Anaheim Hills as I type this review. Kelly is super personable, easy to work with, and efficient. Andrew is speedy!!! I just watched him go, go, go…it was quite impressive. Even though he was fast, he did NOT sacrifice quality for speed. Charro worked hard to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. I am super picky and paranoid – they took care of my belongings with extra care. If I had to do it again, I would hire Mathis Moving again.

I am a bit late on writing this review but I felt the need to do it anyway. During the process of my move I realized it would be way too tough to attempt to move out of our 4 bedroom home yet I was very apprehensive about hiring movers to help with this move. Roy Mathis Moving exceeded my expectations! They made everything so easy and painless. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

This is an excellent moving company! I chose this company because of the great reviews, they are family owned and they have been in business for many years. From the beginning, Ava the scheduler was very accomodating. I had to change my scheduled move twice because the new house was not yet move in ready. At one point, the day I needed was booked but Ava went above and beyond and got us movers! The movers, Charro and Mario arrived early! When they were leaving the first house, the owner stopped by to drop off a third mover. He came over to ask me how everything was going, and helped the guys a little before he left, he was great! I had been living in the same home for almost 40 years. This was my first time moving and, as you can imagine I was very disorganized. Charro has over 15 years of moving experience with the same company and knew exactly what to do, he was very helpful and had great suggestions. Mario was very nice, both were great guys! I felt very comfortable knowing they were so experienced. When they arrived at the new house, they were so patient and accommodating because I was still figuring out where to put the furniture. I am very thankful for their hard work and advice. If you are moving, this is a great company with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!

Mathis Moving has moved us 5 times in the last 6 years. Most recently from our old home to a storage facility and then from the facility to our new home. Every time they have been top-notch! I wouldn’t ever consider using another moving company. The movers are careful and friendly and listen to what you need and take care of it.
